s81 Load Test

The video above shows a test we performed on an s81 granite bench. The test simulates an extreme loading condition, 680kg applied to the centre of the bench (8 average men standing on an area of about 0.6m x 0.6m). While under this load we then strike several blows with a sledge hammer to simulate impact loading such as someone jumping on the bench while others are sitting on it.
