Most sheet metal bins suffer badly from rust problems due to the vulnerability of their coating. Zintec steel which is most commonly used has a zinc coating thickness of 1 – 1.75 microns. The s45 has a zinc coating thickness of 84 microns throughout, 50 times greater than that of zintec.
